Welcome one and all

I am Quint Marento, award-winning screenwriter and director.  This is my website.  I am currently working on my new movie - "Kamikaze Blade" and this site is the home of the set diary, alright?  The home.

Ok?

Also on this site are my biography, my contact details (which are quite obviously like gold dust) and information on all of my movies.  Right, get to it!

My Influences

I'm in the movie business, alright?  I got a lot of people who have influenced my writing and my directing, alright?  Here's a motherfuckin' list of all these fuckin' fuckers who have had a profound impact on me:

Richard Curtis
Now this guy is supercool.  His writing is just incredible and I'm not talkin' about his pissy little sitcom Blackadder or that godwaful Mr Bean crap.  No, I'm bangin' on about his masterpieces "Four Weddings And A Funeral", "Notting Hill" and "Love, Actually", which of course he also directed.  I cried like a baby at his romantic comedies and it was when I was wankin' over "Bridget Jones's Diary" that I had the inspiration for my last movie, "Parasol".

Michael Winner
Not only is this guy a fantastic director, and his "Death Wish" series was phenomenal, but his acting made me wanna take cameo roles in my movies, OK?  Now I don't need to tell you how good this guy is, I'm sure you've all seen those fuckin' E-sure car insurance ads.  The guy is a genius!

William Shakespeare
What a guy!  His words are so fuckin' vivid, so alive that I really do cream my slacks, alright?  It was my love of this bald motherfucker that made me make "Complete Works".  When I won the awards that I did for that movie it made me wanna dig up his corpse and really show my appreciation.  This is of course why there was a gap of five years between "Complete Works" and "Wife Disposal".
